About LibStract

A clearer way to find browser assets

Frontend developers repeatedly need dependable building blocks: a CSS framework for layout, a date helper, a chart renderer, an icon font, or a syntax highlighter. LibStract brings a focused collection of those browser assets into one searchable, version-labelled catalog.

Each published asset is available through an individual public URL on LibStract. Use the public URL directly in your website, or download the file and keep your own local copy when needed and permitted by the library's licence. Separate CSS and JavaScript entries let you select only the resource your page needs.

Published builds, identifiable versions

Library files are sourced from their projects’ published releases. Short asset filenames are paired with the full package name and exact release version in the catalog, making it easier to identify what a public URL serves.

Stylesheets that depend on webfonts also require their companion font files to remain available at the paths expected by the stylesheet. LibStract serves the published companion assets with the stylesheet. Multi-file libraries list CSS and JavaScript separately so visitors can choose the right resource.

Licensing

Each library remains subject to its own upstream license. Check that license and its attribution requirements before including a file in a project or redistributing it.
